Warner Bros Studios: excellence and safety at a height of 90 cm
In the heart of the global film industry, in Los Angeles (CA), architectural challenges met Profilitec's technical innovation. Near Warner Bros Studios, a raised floor was created using an innovative combination of SUPAANG joists and SUPATRAY safety grating from the UPTEC system.
The project involved laying 30x120 cm ceramic tiles (20 mm thick) on a structure that had to compensate for a final height of approximately 90 cm. At such heights, structural stability and safety become essential to ensure flooring that can withstand heavy foot traffic.

Modularity and versatility: the main advantage of the UPTEC system
The modularity of the UPTEC system proved to be a key factor in achieving the final result quickly: by combining the SUPAR and SUPAR120 quick-connect extension rings, the installation team achieved the desired height with extreme ease.
The possibility of combining the extension rings with each other also allows for quick remedies to any unforeseen issues due to inconsistencies between the design and the actual height to be compensated for during installation on site.

Stability and safety: The SUPAANG + SUPATRAY combination
Given the heavy pedestrian traffic expected in the Studios area, safety was one of the main requirements of the company that carried out the project. For this reason, a cutting-edge structural combination was implemented:
- SUPAANG joist: guarantees uniform load distribution and improves the stability of the installation, given the considerable height to be compensated for.
- SUPATRAY grid: creates a substructure for the flooring which, in the event of accidental breakage of the ceramic tiles, retains the fragments and prevents the surface from collapsing, ensuring the safety of users.
The project near Warner Bros Studios demonstrates how Profilitec's Made in Italy solutions are able to solve complex construction site problems, where strict American safety standards must be met. A system that is not just a series of components, but a complete engineering solution that transforms a technical challenge into an architectural success.
