Finish
-
Painted profiles are recommended for use on wall installations because the finish is not particularly resistant to pedestrian passage and could be damaged if used on floors. For floor installations, we recommend more resistant finishes, such as stainless steel, brass and some aluminum finishes.

Upon first glance both “L” profiles look the same. The profiles are named differently to distinguish between the use of each profile, the surface finishes and the installation method – in fact, that’s why they’re also called “multipurpose profiles”. The Trimtec TR code refers to profiles specifically designed for floors, while the Kerajolly KJ code refers to profiles designed for wall coverings. In particular, the Kerajolly has a vast range of finishes which we recommend only for use on walls. A Trimtec TR profile, on the other hand, can be used on both walls and floors.
