In humid environments we recommend using our profiles in AISI 316 stainless steel, which offers greater resistance to corrosion.

The best and safest material is plastic. Metal profiles (aluminum / steel) could be damaged by cleaning substances (chlorine / salts) used in pools. Even though AISI 316 stainless steel presents greater resistance to corrosion than AISI 304 stainless steel, it cannot guarantee complete resistance.

The wall and floor profiles which are most suitable for saline environments are those in AISI 316 stainless steel. They offer the best resistance to oxidation and corrosion. Particular attention, on the other hand, must be given to profiles in contact with substances which contain chlorine, given that they could cause contamination.
