The compensating shims for strips are patented plastic accessories that can be installed on the series of Listec LI10 and Listec LI15 strips. The shims are compatible for both the 3/16" and 3/8" (15 mm and 10 mm) versions of the profiles (the suitable one is broken and used).The thickness has a dual function as positioned in the lower part of the profile acts as a compensator from 5/16" to 11/32" (8 to 9.5 mm) and also from 5/16" to 7/16" (8 to 11.5 mm) if used upside down. In this way it is possible to adapt the slats made, with a thickness of 5/16" (8 mm), both with 3/8" (10 mm) and 1/2" (12 mm) tiles, avoiding the difficult and not always optimal compensations with glue that are normally used to install the profiles.With a single and simple accessory you get a perfect listel for 5/16", 3/8" or 1/2" (8, 10 or 12 mm) tiles.

The adapter thickness is made in a single piece that must be broken to be used either with the 3/16" (15 mm) wide strip or alternatively with the 3/8" (10 mm) wide strip. Once the part to be used with the profile has been broken and identified, the thickness must be used on one or the other side to obtain compensation from 5/16" to 11/32" - 8 to 9.5 mm (for 3/8" - 10 mm tiles) or from 5/16" to 7/16" - 8 to 11,5 mm (for 1/2" - 12.5 mm tiles). It is advisable to apply a compensator every 20" - 50 cm to maintain alignment along the entire length of the profile.
